Louise and Kieran had this amazing wedding in early spring. They wanted something simple yet classy with a touch of tradition. Once they found the perfect Glasgow wedding vendors, they knew they were in for a fantastic celebration. A slightly less traditional approach to the guest list meant a very intimate ceremony of just 12, but 180 guests in the evening for a big party, as only Cottiers deserves!

What was the best bit of your wedding?
I loved the dancing with my family and friends the entire night.
What was the worst bit of your wedding?
I was very sad when the lights came on at the end of the night. It meant our perfect day was over!
Which supplier deserved a gold star?
Our flowers were outrageous! Gemma took the colours and vague idea we asked for and turned the place into something really special. All our guests commented on how special they were.
Any advice for future brides?
Do one big thing a month in the year before the wedding so things are more manageable. Also find a venue that you trust to make decisions for you if anything goes wrong on the day. I trusted Erin to just fix anything on the day without having to check and so it meant that I was able to just relax and have a great time rather than worry about anything going wrong as I knew she would just sort it!
What made you choose Unbridaled?
I had visited the store in the past when I was a bridesmaid. I followed the store on Instagram and kept up with all the Unbridaled trends. I knew that this was my store, so that is why I picked it as my first stop. It ended up being the only bridal shop I visited because I immediately found my dream dress. It was an amazing experience, having the store to myself and just a few key people with me was really special.
How did you know you have found “the one”?
Picking the bridal gown is one of the most stressful things brides have to do! But if you have the right person by your side, then it can be exciting! I was glad that I came across Emily, who, I believe, could read my mind! I tried only two dresses, and then she pulled out THE dress! From the minute I saw the dress I knew it was the perfect one, it just felt amazing on and I knew it was what I wanted without being able to actually tell Emily what I was looking for!

Louise, like so many of our brides, who travel from all over to visit, knew before she even stepped in the door that we would have her gown! This is despite the one she eventually went for, not even being featured on our website/instagram, becasue we actually customised it just for her. The gold embroidery throughout the skirt, gave the perfect amount of non traditional twist to a classic a line silhouette and it had all the movement she craved for dancing the night away at Cottiers!
